Diffuse Optical Imaging of Tissue Lab
I develop robust optical methods which leverage spectroscopy of scattered light — bridging light-transport physics and applied engineering to build devices that provide quantitative, actionable data. My work centers on the calibration-free dual-ratio technique across three areas: non-invasive medical diagnostics, funded by my NIH Pathway to Independence award (K99/R00); non-destructive food-quality evaluation; and optical metrology for bioprocess monitoring.
